We have been specialist growers of clivia since the early 1990s and have built up an international class collection of quality plants, including all 6 species and many different varieties. Rare collector plants are exported all over the world and in March each year we produce an international seed catalogue which is available on request. We use selected parent plants from our collection to produce a range of seedlings for New Zealand gardeners & landscapers. South Africans by birth, we have been members of the Clivia Society since 1994. Alick served on the committee of the KwaZulu-Natal Clivia Club for some years when we lived in Everton, outside Durban, right in the heart of the C gardenii habitat. In October 2000 we moved to New Zealand to be closer to our family, accompanied by some 600 clivia plants, the core of our collection. Since then we have travelled extensively and met up with clivia growers in various parts of the world, expanding our collection along the way. Alick is Secretary of the New Zealand Clivia Club.
